A Decade of Empowering Young People Across Africa
Youth Rise International (YoRI) inspires, equips, and supports young people to lead transformative change within their communities.
2015 - The Beginning
Founded from personal experience of extreme poverty, YoRI began as a grassroots initiative helping children with education and providing livelihood support for vulnerable families. What started locally soon became a movement for change.
2018 - Regional Growth
YoRI expanded across Ghana and West Africa, reaching hard-to-reach communities with integrated programs addressing poverty, climate change, and health disparities through youth mobilization.
2020 - Global Recognition
Featured on CNN, ABC News, World Bank, and AU ECOSOCC platforms. Our founder's advocacy work reached global audiences, amplifying the voices of Africa's most vulnerable communities.
Youth Rise International (YoRI)
Today, YoRI is a legally-registered survivor-led and youth-led non-profit fighting the root causes of extreme poverty, climate change, and health disparities. Aligned with AU Agenda 2063 and UN SDGs 2030, we're building an Africa without poverty and hunger.
